Techzilla Mother's Day Run 2013 Recap

2013-05-15 14:42:02nicole1

This past Mother’s Day was a memorable one for everyone at the Techzilla Foundation. The organization’s inaugural Techzilla Mother’s Day Run/Walk kicked off promptly at 7am with a fun and energetic warm up by Mommycize, a fitness organization dedicated to fast fitness for busy mothers. Over 600 runners and volunteers warmed up their muscles to”The Harlem Shake” and LMFAO’s “Party Rock Anthem.”

Ready, Set, GoRunRoses

Shortly after, runners from all walks of life donned in Techzilla purple race shirts were called to the starting line. The track continued on wrapping around beautiful Huizenga Plaza to greenery and water views of the Downtown Fort Lauderdale area.

Runners finished off in the back end of the park adjacent to the waterway, all finishers were greeted with ornate medals and purple roses in honor of Mother’s Day. The race ended off with announcements of the winners per age group. Festivities continued on with some Dunk Tank action, Bounce House and water activities, Mimosas for the adults, a protein-filled breakfast, ice cream and feel-good music.

The race has raised a little over $70,000 for the cause and Techzilla couldn’t be happier.

Thank You

From everyone at Techzilla, we thank each and everyone who participated in the event. Not only is this towards all the participants of the Run, this includes the volunteers and vendors (Runner’s Depot, Running Wild, Orangetheory Fitness… the list is endless) who planned this a year in and began setting up the race as early as 3am! This event would not have been possible without all of their hard work.

We’d also like to specially thank Split Second Timing and WildSideOnline! To check out the race results and finisher photos for either the 5k or 5mile routes, visit Techzilla Mother’s Day Run 5mile results or Techzilla Mother’s Day Run 5k results.

Techzilla Launches to Support Evolving Tech Needs

2013-03-18 13:08:10nicole1

We’re thrilled to have officially launched Techzilla. Our offices are rapidly expanding, purple is taking over and it’s really beginning to feel like Techzilla City around here. Our lab specialists are on deck ready to offer superior service to customers seeking tech help. Additionally, expect exciting new ventures developing in the near future!

Our Mission

Today’s consumers lead interconnected lifestyles, relying upon multiple tech devices and gadgets to simplify their day-to-day household operations.

To meet growing consumer demand fueled by tech innovation, MyTechHelp.com, one of the nation’s leading tech support companies, has made a multi-million dollar investment to expand its services and capabilities to launch Techzilla – a new one-stop shop for all things tech, offering not only tech support, but also repair capabilities, a retail/product line and an educational platform.

“In the past 10 months alone, we’ve witnessed a dramatic increase in call volume and are pacing to successfully handle upwards of more than 1 million customer resolutions by the end of the year. Moreover, we currently employ 600 people and plan to triple our workforce in size to 1,800 employees over the next 12 months, enabling us to serve more customers than ever before,” said MyTechHelp.com and Techzilla Founder Benzion Aboud.

“Given the dramatic growth we’ve experienced in our tech support business and rising consumer demand in technology, expanding our brand to meet the evolving needs of our customers made perfect sense.”

Unique to Techzilla is its ability to provide around-the-clock tech support for a plethora of consumer technologies, covering today’s leading brands. Consumers are not just limited to computer tech support – they can also receive coverage for other devices that make up their interconnected lifestyles, including smartphones; tablets; digital cameras and camcorders; home networks; TV and DVR devices; modems and routers; and music/MP3 players.

Additionally, Techzilla offers a customer-centric repair service, allowing consumers to have their devices diagnosed and fixed from the comfort of their homes. Technicians will attempt to resolve the customer’s issue over the phone; however, for problems requiring a closer look, the device can be shipped directly to Techzilla.

“Recent findings from international research firm Parks Associates show that U.S. consumers want a solution that covers tech support needs for all of their gadgets. Moreover, of the broadband households interested in new technical support services, 72% believe that the service should be able to fix every technical problem they experience,” said Techzilla Executive Vice President Russell Giniger, who oversees the company’s operations, finances, sales and marketing.

“Based on the industry trends we’ve observed and the customer feedback we’ve received, we wanted to take Techzilla to the next level to provide a multi-dimensional layer of service, catering to all of our customers’ ever-changing tech needs.”

In addition to its tech support and repair services, Techzilla offers its customers a suite of anti-virus and anti-malware products, along with other everyday household tech products, including computer monitors, keyboards, mice, printers, etc.

Additionally, the company hosts a free educational platform on its site called Techpedia, which informs consumers about the latest technologies and tech trends, as well as provides how-to, instructional videos and other knowledge resources.

Techzilla is headquartered on a 100,000 square-foot, state-of-the-art tech campus in Margate, Fla., featuring a 700-seat tech center.office-techzilla

This weekend proved a great success for Jason Taylor Foundation’s 10th annual Celebrity Golf Classic. Celebrations kicked off with a stylish White Party gala. Once sundown hit, guests flooded in.

Revelers were donned in white (of course) along with flashy accessories and bright patterns. Hailing from all over the spectrum, some notables included: Ed “Too Tall” Jones, Tony Siragusa, Brandon Fields, Aubrey O’Day, Chris Kirkpatrick and of course the Taylors.

Staying true to the South Florida vibe, seating, food and entertainment took place poolside at the Seminole Hard Rock. Once you walked through the red carpet area, guests were greeted with an ornate sand sculpture, flame throwers, violinists, sports memorabilia and a special performance by the Sugar Hill Gang.

Monday morning, the fun continued on the green over at Grande Oaks Golf Course in Davie, FL. Participants woke up bright and early to meet their teams for a few rounds. Players jumped aboard Techzilla branded golf carts (pretty neat, right?) and enjoyed beautiful scenery and the game. This included our very own Techzilla Team: Founders Benny Aboud and Reid Shapiro, Russell Giniger (Techzilla VP), Brett Bieber (Director of Operations), Ervin Sala (Director of IT Operations).

History of JTF

Since opening its doors in 2004, the Jason Taylor Foundation has contributed nearly $3,000,000 in programs and services to more than 40 different organizations dedicated to helping children. The Holtz Children’s Hospital officially renamed its recreational and educational facility “The Jason Taylor Children’s Learning Center,” 43 middle school students have been awarded college scholarships as a result of the Foundation’s work with Take Stock in Children, more than 1,000  youth athletes have received “scholarships” to participate in the Jason Taylor Football Camp, experiencing hours of expert instruction on the fundamentals of football each August.

Techzilla Tech Support also recognizes the importance of building a better future for children and being a massive supporter of the cause — we are proud to spread this ideal by the creation of the Techzilla Foundation. This Mother’s Day, we will be holding the Techzilla Mother’s Day Run (5K/ 5 Mile) where all efforts will go directly to MyWish4U, an organization dedicated to improving the lives of  children fighting pediatric cancers.
